      Welcome

We are a body of Christ gathered to worship our Living God.  May we come together today with resolve to give our best gifts to GOD as we join in each act of worship.

         Friends and Neighbors

At WTBC, we are an accepting congregation.  We accept each other, and we welcome guests among us.  If you are a guest in our church, we appreciate your choice to worship with us.

      Teen News

We would love to invite all 7th - 12th grade students in the community. Join us and see what is new and get involved in a positive environment that is structured on the Bible to help students deal with today's issues and remain strong in faith, knowing that God is in control

We have a new bible study happening now for our youth. It is called "REVIVE" and is being led by an amazing couple Bill and Pam Briest.  The focus is on "who am I" and how to get the youth in our community to open up about themselves and who God is; how HE plays an important part in our lives. (Each person has unique gifts and talents; a role to play in the world unlike anyone else) If you haven't come out yet, you are missing an amazing discussion and learning experience.

"REVIVE" is every Sunday night @6p. If you need a ride, contact the church, we have a van that runs every Sunday leaving the church at 5:15p.

Genesis 1:27  "So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them."

Psalm 139:14 "You are fearfully and wonderfully made."

Pastor's Pen

As we look forward to celebrating Jesus' resurrection on Easter, it's important to reflect on the importance of Jesus' death as the means for our salvation.  We remembered Christ's crucifixion with a combination of grief and gratefulness this past Palm Sunday. Friday was "Good Friday" and these are a compilation of Good Friday thoughts:

"What's So Good About Good Friday?" (Norman Brown) If the disciples called it "good," it was only after encountering the risen Christ. However, would Jesus say that Friday was "good"?

"More Than A Hero" (Scot DeVries) Jesus' power might not always seem as grand and glorious as the powers of the world, but the joke is on them.  Jesus didn't threaten the Roman Empire because it was no real threat to Jesus.

"Jesus In The Middle" (Tom Groelsema) There were three crosses, with Jesus in the middle.  Our salvation could have been accomplished if Jesus had died alone.  But that's not how God designed it.

"Crucified" (Arthur Schoonveld) Through the cross of Christ, God Himself entered into our broken lives in this world.  For those who wonder whether God cares about our suffering, here is God's answer.

"Truth In Jerusalem" (Arie Leder) Jesus' opponents are forever remembered as declaring that He had the authority He claimed.  And with that authority He proceeded to the cross - to pay for sin once and for all!

Life

It takes God to make life whole.  Learn to appreciate the bad with the good, because God uses all situations to bless us beyond measure. Life is not always going to be easy, but always know that God is in control and His plan and His timing is always right. Trust God, read His Word, and listen for His still small voice to calm all things and make life complete.

It takes 3 to make your marriage whole.  Christ should always be in the beginning and throughout a marriage to have the quality of love and compassion that should be mixed into a marriage.

Van Ministry

We have a van route that will pick members up on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. The van leaves the church at 9am on Sunday and 5:30pm on Wednesday. If you need a ride to church, please contact the church so we can make sure the drivers know to pick you up.

Wednesday night study
Come join our study at 6:30pm, you will be blessed.
"We weren't meant to sit in a museum, to exclusively draw stares from those who admire our craftsmanship. We were crafted, created, and formed to do good works." Max Lucado

Children's Ministry

Children's Church is growing, every Sunday morning during the worship hour. The children K-4th grade go into the education building during our morning service and have fun things to do that will elaborate on the message given by Pastor Jerry. Crafts, movies, and games will be other activities that they will do.
